The AS Exam Prepration Seminars are held at the Georgia State University Alpharetta Executive Education Center (GET MAP). Coffee and soft drinks are provided throughout the day. Lunch and afternoon snacks are also provided (except for the last day of Course C and MLC seminars). Participants are expected to make their own arrangements for breakfast and dinner.

For your convenience, we have negotiated a special GSU rate with the Staybridge Suites Alpharetta, located at 3980 North Point Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30005 (GET MAP ), just 0.63 miles from the Georgia State campus, on a limited number of rooms. These rooms are available on a first-come-first served basis and tend to fill up quickly. Room rates for the Fall 2008 seminars are as follows:

TRANSPORTATION:

Seminar participants are expected to make their own arrangements for transportation to and from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, as well as travel throughout the Atlanta area during your stay.

The Alpharetta Executive Education Center (GET MAP) is located in the Atlanta suburbs, approximately 38.5 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, off of GA-400 (exit 10). The Staybridge Suites (GET MAP ) is 38 miles from the airport. Please be aware that a taxi ride from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to the Staybridge Suites is approximately $100. If you want to travel throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area, we suggest you rent a car. If you are planning on using public transportation, build some additional time into your schedule.

TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS ARE:

	CAR RENTAL: Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, Enterprise, National, and Thrifty have registration counters located inside the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on the first floor within the atrium.
	MARTA: The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority covers the metro Atlanta area with scheduled service to and from the airport. MARTA trains arrive and depart from the airport every eight minutes. Although MARTA does not service Alpharetta, a taxi ride from the closest MARTA station—the North Springs (N11) station, located off of GA-400 between exits 6 and 7—will cost about $20-$30 to either the Staybridge Suites or the Alpharetta Center. There is a taxi stand at the North Springs station.
	STAYBRIDGE SUITES GUESTS: Transportation to and from the Georgia State University Alpharetta Executive Education Center will be provided by the Staybridge Suites Alpharetta free of charge twice daily. The shuttle leaves the hotel at 7:30 a.m. and returns from the Alpharetta Center at approximately 5:30 p.m.
