Zhiyong Liu is an assistant professor of risk management and insurance in the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. He specializes in applied microeconomics, industrial organization, and risk management. Prior to his arrival at Georgia State, he taught in the School of Economics & Management at Tsinghua University in China.

Dr. Liu graduated from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with a Ph.D. degree in managerial economics and strategy. He also received an M.A. degree in business economics from Peking University and a B.A. degree in economics from Wuhan University.
