Edwin Palmer is an assistant professor of legal studies in the RMI Department of the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University and a member of both the Georgia and Alabama Bar Associations. Prior to joining Georgia State's faculty, he was engaged in the practice of law for over 25 years, focusing on all major areas of corporate and business-related law in both the transactional and litigation arenas.

He is an active participant in the Atlanta business community and serves often as a speaker or panelist on issues ranging from business to bankruptcy to health care law (with an emphasis on what has become the complicated industry of death and dying).
