EXECUTIVE EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Typically, non-degree executive education is highly customized.  The companies that we work with have needs that don’t easily fit within a standard format.  Our programs are taught by the same professors that teach in our top ranked BBA and MBA Programs.

The Department of Risk Management and Insurance has offered customized non-degree programs for the past 30 years.  Our department is highly ranked (U.S. News and World Report #3), has been designated as a Center for Actuarial Excellence by the Society of Actuaries, and is the among the largest Risk Management and Insurance programs in the United States.  While our department has organized executive education programs by ourselves, we have also teamed with our Center for Global Business Leadership for other opportunities where a leadership component was required.

The Center for Global Business Leadership specializes in executive leadership programs and maintains a highly active agenda of activities for its friends, supporters, and sponsors.  The Center serves as a resource and a gathering place for executives, high potential managers being groomed for executive management, and talent managers responsible for their organization’s leadership development.  It offers a wide range of programs, workshops, roundtable discussions, and briefings on executive leadership.  In addition, its portfolio of practice-oriented publications showcases the leadership principles followed by highly effective executives across a wide range of industries.  It also highlights the pitfalls sure to surface if those leadership principles are ignored.
