NEW YORK LIFE MINORITY SCHOLARS PROGRAM

WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS AT THIS TIME

In keeping with its commitment to ensure the success of future generations by funding education, mentoring, and research programs, New York Life (NYL) has collaborated with the RMI Department to develop an innovative program that encourages scholarship and personal development. The New York Life Minority Scholars Program was created to attract a diverse group of talented individuals into the undergraduate and graduate programs offered by the RMI Department at Georgia State.  Upon graduation, Scholars will hopefully enjoy successful careers with New York Life.

NYL will provide each Scholar with up to $5,000 (renewable each year with completion of renewal form, available here).  During the course of the program, Scholars are required to complete 2 summer internships at NYL's New York City office.  Scholars must maintain a Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher.

NYL will select scholars from among candidates who meet qualifications for admission to undergraduate or graduate study at Georgia State University.  Priority will be given to students who are enrolled or will enroll in one of the programs offered by the RMI Department.  NYL will interview qualified applicants, either in person, by videoconference, or in other such convenient manner.
