Do I have to submit a separate application for each scholarship?

No, you only need to submit one application to be considered for all applicable RMI Department scholarships. However, RMI students are eligible to apply for certain Outside Scholarships/Special Programs, and several of these do require a separate application. |

The RMI Department scholarships are primarily based on merit. |

Do I have to apply for a scholarship each year? |

Yes, the RMI Department requires that you submit a renewal application each year in order to continue a scholarship for the next academic year. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance and timely progress towards your degree. Graduate students who receive a GRA must also submit a GRA renewal application in order to continue a GRA in the upcoming academic year. |

Do I need to submit original transcripts and standardized test scores? |

Yes. You may have already submitted originals to the college or university for other purposes, but you will also need to submit originals to the RMI Department to be eligible for RMI scholarships. |

Although as a public institution, Georgia State University charges tuition & fee amounts that are quite reasonable as compared with nationwide figures, they do increase from year to year. You can get the latest figures here.

What other financial aid is available, and how can I apply? |

In addition to RMI Department scholarships, Georgia State University and the Robinson College of Business also provide financial aid. Financial aid generally comes in three forms: grants, loans and scholarships. Grant and loan eligibility is based on need while scholarship eligibility is more commonly based on merit, or merit and need.
