The Editor's Byte…

The Technology Report is the newsletter of the Technology Section of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business. This issue contains 3 sections: (1) The Editor's Byte, (2) From the C Drive, and (3) submission guidelines. Future issues will contain the Research and Development section which includes academic articles on issues pertaining to Technology Law.

This issue of The Technology Report offers a useful classroom offering on how to teach an old dog (stare decisis) using a new trick (browse wrap agreements). We hope you will find this article useful and enjoyable. We also hope you will consider The Technology Report as an outlet for your articles and teaching ideas.

If, on the other hand, you have technology-related questions or short ideas that you would like discussed among Technology Section members, I encourage you to post them on Cyberlawtalk. If you have any questions about subscribing to or posting comments on Cyberlawtalk, please e-mail me at jgabel@gsu.edu.

With regard to Technology Section news, we held our inaugural meeting at our national conference in Albuquerque. For minutes from that meeting, please refer to our Web page which can now be found on the ALSB Web page (www.alsb.org) or directly at techsection.alsb.mercer.edu. Thank you to Jody Blanke for serving as Secretary & Webmaster. Next meeting, we will be voting on our proposed bylaws which can also be found on our section website. Upon passing bylaws, we will be electing new officers.
