OUR STUDENTS
The RMI Department has a diverse student body. Typically, a third of students enrolled in our courses are international. Since the department was founded in 1953, over 41 countries have been represented among our students.
Our graduate actuarial science (MAS) and mathematical risk management (MRM) students have the highest GMAT scores in the Robinson College of Business (2005-2006 academic year).
We have the largest RMI PhD program in the world. Our recent graduates have been placed at the University of Iowa, Virginia Commonwealth University, the University of Manchester (Great Britain), and Nankai University (China).
We offer our students access to a large network of potential employers through various career placement and job counseling programs, led by Dr. Lorilee Schneider, Faculty Director of External Relations and the Robinson Career Management Center.
RMI students stay connected through the various organizations we sponsor:
Actuarial Students Organization
Gamma Iota Sigma/Zeta Chapter
Personal Financial Planning Student/Alumni Organization
RMI Alumni Club
MRM Student Organization
